Sustainable Future
Our packaging is becoming smaller, smarter and more sustainable. We all have a responsibility to have a smarter and more efficient approach to using our raw materials. That's why at PACCAR Parts, we're reviewing our packaging practices. By reducing the size of plastic packaging, we will soon be able to reduce raw material consumption by as much as 15%. We reuse our wooden pallets, and we have already saved 40,000 kilograms of cardboard in our Parts Distribution Centres.
Less packaging while on the road
Packaging our parts more efficiently also means we can reduce the number of shipments we make to our DAF dealers, which helps decrease emissions. Every step counts on the road to a sustainable future.
Let’s think inside the box
Our ultimate goal? To have a 100% circular packaging flow for packaging by 2050. That might seem far away but we believe that we'll be able to reduce packaging by 35% by 2030. Let's think inside the box!
