PACCAR Parts began construction of a new Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in the city of Massbach, Bayern, Germany.

A new 240,000-square-foot facility will be built on a 54-acre site and is set to open in 2024. The facility aims to provide top-notch service to the DAF dealer network, ensuring fast delivery of shipments and emergency orders. With a storage capacity of over 80,000 parts, the Massbach PDC will employ cutting-edge technologies like voice-directed material handling, advanced scanning equipment, and automated packaging systems to enhance order fulfillment. PACCAR's commitment to the environment will be showcased through the facility's solar power, 'green roof' concepts, eco-friendly heat pumps, electric truck charging stations, and zero onsite gas emissions.
