Marcel Strijbos joined KLG in the Netherlands at its new state-of-the-art premises in Eersel, just outside Eindhoven in July 2023. New to the industry, he quickly felt at home in his role as Employee Warehouse Management Fleet Workshop. He oversees the in-house garage and workshop with six lanes and space for 12 trucks and trailers, garage stock, and truck and trailer parts. KLG manages maintenance in-house, from MOT inspections to damage repairs, but outsources major engine maintenance.
Marcel’s job is to scan photos of truck damage, keep an inventory of the body parts needed, and purchase replacements.
